    House Votes to Overturn Executive Order on Federal Collective Bargaining Rights

    The House of Representatives took decisive action on Wednesday by voting to overturn President Trump's executive order that ended collective bargaining rights for approximately two-thirds of the federal workforce.  Could this be a turning Point?

     NLRB Regains Quorum    

    Unions Must Protect Their Members

    The NLRB has regained its quorum after the Senate confirmed Trump administration labor nominees, allowing the agency to resume issuing decisions and enforcing federal labor law after nearly a year of paralysis. This development signals a likely shift toward employer-favorable interpretations of labor statutes.

    This does not bode well for Labor Unions and Organizations.  During the last Trump administration, the Republican NLRB was extremely hostile to labor. Even going so far as to penalize unions with fines if they did not have electronic records of all grievances and arbitrations.  Unions must acquire tools to protect themselves from the coming onslaught.
