The American Postal Workers Accident Benefit Association (ABA) was incorporated on December 12, 1898, originating from the National Association of Railway Postal Clerks. There is also ABA Insurance Services, which was established in 1987 as a joint venture to provide insurance for financial institutions, according to ABA Insurance Services. The
Membership is available to editors and associate editors of local, state, national, auxiliary and retiree publications and websites of the American Postal Workers Union.
Elected officers of local, state, national and auxiliary affiliates of the American Postal Workers Union are eligible for associate membership, as well as active or retired members of the APWU.
