The first APWU National Convention was held in 1972, following the founding of the American Postal Workers Union that same year. This inaugural convention marked the official start of the union’s biennial tradition, bringing together delegates from across the country to establish policies and set the direction for the newly formed organization.
The APWU National Convention is held every two years (biennially), with recent conventions in 2024 (Detroit) and 2026 (Los Angeles). It is a central event for APWU governance, where delegates debate and vote on union policy, labor issues, and constitutional amendments.
Attached is the list of workshops for each day of the conference. Please remember that if you choose a workshop with a continuing session, you must also select the continuing session. If you do not, we must adjust, which may disrupt your other preferred workshop options. Space is limited; you must be a conference-paid and registered attendee to select a workshop. Please put number one for your first choice and two for your second choice. We will do our best to accommodate all attendees. Thank you.
